The Basics
Name: Sita Jaya Verito
Nickname(s): Red
Age: 17 years
Birthday: December 13th
Current job: Unemployed, thief.
Race: Shifter (Regular)
Special abilities: Can shift into any known species seen.
Court: N/A
Hair: Long, deep red.
Eyes: Blue, depending on mood can come close to grey or bright sky blue.
Physical Looks: Standing at a height of five feet and seven inches, Sita wouldn't be called short though she's not overly tall either. Her defining qualities are of course her red hair and blue eyes. Many guess that her hair is actually dyed, and they'd be right, though her hair is naturally brown with a red hue anyway. Adding to the red hair and blue eyes look is the other fair feature of her skin, which is basically viewed as being particularly pale and people often worry she might be sick because of how pale she is.
Naturally given her ability Sita tends to keep a fairly balanced diet and hold a high fitness level. This makes her appear very slender, yet not sickly thin, and athletic. When it comes to style of dress she doesn't really have a preference for colors or anything, just whatever she feels like at the time. Though usually the majority of her wardrobe will be feminine and so there will always be a feminine style or edge to her outfits. On the rare occasion she can enter a tomboy phase but these are rare as she enjoys making use of her female virtues.
Character rep: Candice Accola
Mentality
Attitude: Sita is not a people person, she's rude and apparently unfeeling towards others. She has an attitude to go with her hair color, being fiery and short tempered. To her the bigger picture of the world doesn't matter, only the parts of it that have anything to do directly with her. Making friends is very rare for her given she prefers to keep everyone at a distance so they can't betray her and so she won't care what happens to them. Her big belief is that everyone lies and that it's better not to trust anyone. Though deep down within she does care about others and could have a truly sympathetic side buried beneath the bitterness and cruel jokes. Oh and if anyone takes the time to notice behind her obviously youthful rebellious behavior Sita is extremely intelligent, though catching onto it is hard and she generally denies it.
Goals: Her main goal is to make some goals, right now she's a loose cannon.

History:
Originally born in Houston, Texas but her earliest memories are from her time in Florida, Sita was constantly on the move as a child. The reasoning behind this was the declining mental health of her mother who insisted that her father was a bad man and would try and steal her away as her elder brother Taj had been taken. She was raised to believe that her brother had been taken and to fear her father, so it was no wonder she developed trust issues from an early age. Constantly moving didn't help either, she couldn't establish any real friendships and her mother insisted that she be careful in case those around them alert her father to her whereabouts. It was a mentally insecure woman's paranoia that fed a child in her earliest and most influential years.
It wasn't until she was eight years old that Sita learned the truth when the cops broke into her home. She doesn't remember it well, only that her mother was screaming at her to run and that she'd tried to hide under her bed only to be dragged out of the house by the officers. They told her that there was something wrong with her mother, that Sali was paranoid and not capable of looking after her and that Sita would need to live with her father. Naturally she protested against being given over to her father who she was led to believe was evil. She demanded to go back to her mother, but that was no longer possible as Sali had been committed into a psych ward.
For an entire week she was housed in a foster home while her father arranged some leave from work to come from Ireland to pick her up. Given the fairly violent reaction she had to his arrival it was advised that he spend a few months in Florida with his daughter and attend therapy sessions with her. Needless to say she eventually calmed down well enough to be taken to Ireland and live with her father and elder brother Taj. Although she never truly believed what the therapist told her about her father, that he was a good man. Still, he wasn't the monster her mother had made him out to be. By the age of thirteen she was settled with her father, albeit still distrustful and secretive when it came to him, but she had also ceased all contact with her mother by this stage. Knowing for a fact that her mother was disturbed when during her last visit at thirteen her mother accused her of being tainted.
Given her unusual childhood many believed she would be far behind her age group in studies, which she was. Though she quickly caught up, at least until teachers started commenting how intelligent she was and realized her potential and her photographic memory. Once she noticed she was getting more attention for being 'gifted' she dropped her intelligence immediately, instead purposefully failing classes. By the age of fifteen she technically had a genius level IQ, however with her particular personality and unwillingness to show how intelligent she was it went unnoticed. Some would suggest she didn't seek to expand her intelligence, which in many cases is correct, except where animals and computers were concerned. She studied animals in depth and even did certificates in Veterinary Nursing during her schooling years.
What the school body and her family weren't aware of was her secret lessons with computers with a group of kids who were more of the criminal variety. She learned how to hack computers and create viruses with specific purposes. Pulling apart and putting a computer back together could be done easily by her, as can hot-wiring a car, pulling car engines apart and putting them together again and re-configuring alarms. Ultimately she used her exceptional intelligence to become a brilliant criminal and thief. Though she knew getting into it that it was just a bunch of fun for her, eventually she'd want to move on and expand her horizons, actually choose a profession and apply herself one day.
That was before the walls came down. The walls coming down changed everything for her and she isn't quite sure what side she should choose, if she should even have one. Running away from home was a simple enough choice to make and now she jumps from deserted warehouse to the couch of one of her criminal crew with no real place to call home.
Anything else?
Sample RP:
Summer was a horrible season, because it meant when she was out in the heat working on a car engine she was sweating her ass off. Long strands of her red hair clung to her forehead and cheeks, and it was damn irritating. Using the back of her hand she tried to brush them away. It didn't work, they were stuck fast to her sweaty skin. Too bad she couldn't use her fingers to pry the strands off her wet skin. She wasn't particularly wanting engine grease on her face, it wasn't some miracle blemish cure and she didn't want to ruin her face. Sweat didn't ruin it because she only wore a small amount of makeup, if she bothered to put it on. Her beauty was all natural, she'd known it from Taj's friends constantly checking her out.
Like they were now. In the heat of the day several had removed their shirts and were cleaning the other cars parked out the front of her house. The one she was currently working on was her brother's, and he'd beaten the crap out of it while running low on oil. The fool. Following a hose with her fingers she was forced to push forward on the tips of her toes and bend over, into the car a bit more. At least until she heard a wolf whistle. Rolling her eyes she tightened the bolt she was reaching for first before straightening herself and rolling back onto her feet properly. Casting a dark look in the direction of the whistle where two guys stood still watching her like she was a hooker or something.
"Why don't you guys come over here?" She invited, not bothering to even pretend she appreciated the attention. Her tone was all dangerous ice, dark and filled with poison. They'd come. Or they would have if Taj hadn't walked over to them then and slapped one on the back of the head and started talking to them quickly in hushed tones. Yeah, Taj knew what she'd do. She'd already done it once before, and that guy, who'd dared to touch her, had ended up regretting it while he waited for the doctors to help out a bit. Ever since Taj was more careful to keep his friends away from his psychotic sister. Not that she was really psychotic, just that she wasn't like a normal girl, she didn't appreciate the attention.
