Family
Parents:
Father: William O’Malley – fae - a hustler of various trades. He could sell you your own house if you let him. He meet Tristan’s mother one night at the pub and their relationship was just a few night stands here and there. He stopped all communications with Rose the moment he found out that she was pregnant and had no dealings with her or his son there after. They hear bits and rumors about him now and again, but he has no contact with anyone.
Mother: Rose Mallard – a waitress at a local restaurant – married to Caleb Mallard. She met Will at a pub after a huge fight she had with Caleb. Not caring about anything but revenge and making her husband feel the pain he had caused her, Rose did the unthinkable and had sexual relations with Will. When she found out that she was with child, she was quick to tell Will, but he refused anything about her. He cut off all communications, telling her right away that he was only after one thing, the feelings he had toward her were false. She was then left to tell her husband the truth and had to deal with the shun of it for the rest of her young life.
Siblings:
Arthur – Tristan’s older brother. The pride and joy of the Mallard family. He does his best to make Tristan’s life miserable.
Julie and Sara – twin older sisters. They hate Tristan with every living cell of their bodies.
Other family:
There is plenty of family out there, but Tristan isn’t close to any of them.
Economic status: the family is well of, but as for Tristan being the black sheep of the family, he is ranked as medium class, barely making enough to cover his bills.
History:
Tristan is and will always be the black sheep in his family’s eyes. Ever since he was born, he was treated as dirt when it came to the others. Where they got expensive toys and clothes, Tristan got hand-me-downs and run offs. They got to go the proper boarding schools and he got to spend his time in the second best primary schools that Ireland had to offer. His parents went out of their way to make sure that he had second best.
Ever since he could remember Tristan has been able to catch glimpse off of people’s minds, a mere thought of what they were thinking. He never really did think of it much growing up using it now and again against his family, but other than that he didn’t say much about it. As he got older, he was able to use his ability more and more.
After hearing a fight about his real father, Tristan did his best to learn all that he could about the Fae. He learned right away that there were good and bad ones. It was like learning about the United States History when it came to learning about the Fae. They had their own culture, history, and strong beliefs. He chose from the day he saw a Fae attack a small child in the park, he would fight against the bad ones at all costs.
Tristan was accepted into medical school at a very young age, just out of primary school. He threw himself into his studies, doing his best to avoid his family at all costs. His hard work and dedication paid off in the end, when he earned a full private scholarship for the remaining years of his school. He had gone out of the way to help save some children who had been caught in a rogue Fae attack. He and another person did their best to save all the children. Alice Worthington took him then under her wing at her clinic and does her best to this day to help him wherever he can.

The sound of a child screaming its head off welcomed Tristan’s ears as he made his way inside of a very cramped café. He let out a soft sigh as he moved past the large group of girls crowding over a computer, oogling some new cute celeb. He didn’t catch who it was, nor did he really care. They really didn’t last very long.
The front of the local newspaper caught his attention and he frowned. It was about another Fae attack. A quick skim showed that the casualties were high. This war was going to leave the world empty by the time it ended. It was stupid really how they couldn’t just get along. As he was setting the paper back down he caught a thought as it somewhat was thrown out there.
<We should just do it, and blame it on the fae. No one would think differently about it. We could get away with it.[/] Tristan shot a quick glance around, spotting the small group not that far away. It really wasn’t too hard since they were the only group. The grandparents past them were only thinking of the safety of their grandchildren. <Come on. It’ll be easy. He doesn’t deserve to live anymore…>
Tristan let bit down on his cheek as he took his drink from the waiter. He slowly made his way over to the group. He stumbled a bit and threw his coffee into one of their laps. He quickly hunched down next to the group. “Listen here, you idiots,” he whispered harshly. “I don’t care what you do. But if I catch you trying to kill somebody, I will make sure that there are some Fae involved.” They shot him a harsh look which he only smiled at before getting to his feet. “Have a nice day.” He then headed for the door, swearing as he went, he was late for school.
