Kaelen, being over 400 years old, falls in the category of old Fae. He has the appearance of 30-40 year old human. He hates being old and so takes measures to look good. He dresses fashionably and takes good care of his black hair. He likes to use colors that make his electric blue eyes stand out, using grays, pale blues, navy blue and black.
His body is broad and thick with muscles. Thick eyebrows, small drooping eyes, pink lips and a big forehead. You can always see him smoking or with a drink at hand.

Mentality
Attitude:
Kaelen is a sadistic being. His job in court was that of interrogator, meaning that he interrogated prisoners and suspects with any means necessary to get the truth out of them. His MO became well known, and soon anyone that was set before him confessed or participated willingly to not witness his persuasion. He enjoys inflicting pain,but not if there is nothing in it for him, he has to gain something. He has a very dangerous bipolarity; one second he can be smiling at you, the next he can have your heart bleeding in his hand. He does not hesitate to kill, if he is annoyed, irritated or disappointed by someones performance.
Humans are a waste of space and air. They did not care for their Earth, therefore they do not deserve it. In fact, they should work for the fae to restore it. Fae-blooded can be given the chance to choose if they want to belong with humans or faes. Shifters are curious things, they too can be spared if he finds them interesting enough.
On his brighter side, Kaelen likes company. He loves pets; wolves, tigers, lions, bears, etc. The wilder the better. Another form of company he quite enjoys is that of women. He is currently married, but both his wife and him know that his heart was never in the marriage. The only people he loves are his brothers and his daughter.
Kaelen is stubborn, cold and calculating, intelligent and patient. Also he can never say no to a drink and a smoke.

History:
Xaleem Malahasoian was King Alilir Imnal’s unofficial concubine. She was backup plan. If the queen did not grant any male children then Xaleem would have to. Unfortunately, for Kaelen, the queen gave birth to a male baby two years after he was born. Only a handful of nobles knew of his existence and they quietly removed his mother from the king’s services. His mother married another Fae, in hopes of keeping him and herself safe. However, the king had rather grown fond of Xaleem and sought her in secret.
Fifty years later Xaleem gave birth to Taha, the king’s second bastard son. This time Taha was kept in complete secrecy, even from the court. Their youngest brother was born 40 years after Taha, but not from the king. He was the only one with a real father with him.
Kaelen helped his mother in raising her sons, especially Taha, who had never felt comfortable with their stepfather. Kaelen tried to be a strong, reliable authority in which his brother could seek guidance and trust.
When he turned a hundred years old, the age in which a Fae is seen as a grownup, Kaelen made his presence to the court. He infiltrated and demanded a post. The court granted him entrance in exchange that he would not rebel against the heir to the crown. He accepted. He knew that somehow the heir would not find his way to the crown. If not by his hands, by others.
His role in the court was that of interrogator.
Kaelen had always been a playboy and a lover of drinking. It was only by the ever-growing persistence of his brother Taha that he married a lady of the court, Keara. They got married when he turned 300 and had one daughter, Aithne, whom he loves. Even though he got married, Kaelen never ceased to seduce other women and enjoy their company.
There was a time when Taha got obsessed with a human, fae-blooded. His infatuation with the girl, called Rissa, jeopardize his brother. She made him weak and endangered him in his work. Unable to risk this, Kaelen and his father erased Taha’s memories. He helped him remember the important stuff, be he never mentioned Rissa. If had been a mere human, he would have killed her without a second thought, but since she was fae-blooded, he let her live.
The Collapse. On Halloween of 2012. Kaelen seized the opportunity to attack Earth. Along with the rest of the Dark Faes he killed and destroyed everything that stood in his path. Secretly, Kaelen had been part of the dark Faes that had been crossing over to Earth. He built a hotel, Odin Hotel. It grew to be the most respectable hotel in Dublin and one of the secret headquarters for the dark Fae that roamed the Earth, plotting their attack. After the destruction of half of Dublin, his hotel became the largest headquarter standing. Dark Fae now find refugee in Odin Hotel.
Now that the unseelie court was scattered, the king dead, and the heir missing, Kaelen will take his chance to take the crown.
