It’s not been very long at all since The Collapse and there doesn’t look to be any resolution any time soon. For the moment these are the different factions.
Some are more or less involved directly in the fighting, depending what their goal is, but all of them have blood on their hands – even the neutralists. At the moment there don't seem to be any true leaders for any of the factions either.
Fae Haters
Consisting entirely of humans, these guys don’t like the fae period. Some don’t even like the fae-blooded, even though they are technically still human. Their view is that the fae don’t belong here on Earth, and so what that their home is dying. Let them find a new world to inhabit instead – there are plenty of dimensions out there. And besides, they’re the ones that started this whole mess in the first place.
Fae Supremacists
This is a rather large faction consisting of a whole lot of people with differing ideas. There’s a mixture of light and dark fae, which is a miracle in and of itself considering their well-known rivalry. Generally they’re lumped together, because so far they’ve all been sharing the same goal of fighting against the humans fighting against them.
Humans for Peace
They may or may not like the fae, but they certainly don’t believe in throwing them to the wolves either. These people are already clamoring that the fae should be given full rights and citizenship. Some may believe that of all fae, and some may believe this only so long as the fae follow the laws here on Earth.
Fae for Peace
Similar to Humans for Peace, these guys want to integrate with the human world and attempt to live in harmony with them. It’s quite possible they’ll end up lumped together with humans as one group for peace. Right now the main sticking point for them is how some humans would want to kill the fae who cause trouble.
Neutralists
This makes up a large portion of the human population – we’ve always been a rather apathetic bunch. There are quite a few fae included in the neutral area as well, though not as many. Most fae tend to pick a stronger stance, since it’s their lives at stake. Those who fall into the neutral zone don’t really care what happens, so long as it doesn’t affect them. Keep the fighting away from their families and livelihoods and there won’t be any problems at all.
