Physical Looks:
For a Fae she is on the short side standing at a height of five feet and eight inches, but it makes her easier to blend with Humans without adjusting too much with her glamour. Without it her hair is a jet black, shockingly so and as never seen on Earth however her glamour tones it down to a typical black or dark brown in order to appear normal. Her eyes are a bright sky blue, noticeable enough to Human eyes with her glamour but again even more pure blue and brighter without it. Beneath her glamour her ears are pointed but as she is generally using her glamour people see typical 'human' ears instead.

Mentality
Attitude: Many would find that Nyssa could be understood in three words: inquisitive, gentle and naive. This is because by her species she is actually rather young and hasn't seen as much as most around her have. She is curious about all sorts of things and eager to experience new and exciting things. Her general demeanor is to be gentle to all things, as she is a pacifist and doesn't like conflict and war. In this world she is naive to all the things that people do, particularly how they lie given no Fae will actually lie, only tell half-truths.
However just because she is all those things above does not mean she should be discarded by anyone as harmless. Nyssa is Fae after all and as such she can spin half-truths like any other, she may seek to keep everyone out of harms way with this but sometimes it can lead the person in question to a peril that is only slightly less dangerous than that which they actually sought. She also plays up her apparent innocence, appearing less of a threat than anyone would originally guess. Still she has no intention of causing anyone direct harm and she uses her song magic mostly to sooth the emotions of those around her.

History:
It was always going to be so that Nyssa would follow in the footsteps of her grandmother before her as a keeper of the peace. That was known before her birth, predicted and followed through after her birth given the amount of contact she had with Emmala since her birth. She was to be a peace keeper and observer, and she had the temperament right away, with the soft nature and love for all things. Her parents called her a light, pure and just. It only made the young Nyssa want to excel even more at doing what was expected.
Her hardest task was learning how to simply observe without interfering. It took her many years to learn the ins and outs of what she should do and should not. Help someone too much and they learn nothing from the difficulties that were set ahead of them, don't help them enough and they perish. She had to learn and yet despite not being sheltered from seeing the deaths of others, she was greatly sheltered from seeing the Unseelie. While of course she was aware of them for her entire life she was sheltered from any possible direct contact so that her personality could not be corrupted.
Of course with the events that have been occurring since the collapse she saw to a drastic change in her life. She had always been trained to keep the peace and as such she began working closely with Humans that were aware of the Fae and helping to organize the help between Light Fae and Humans as they fought against the Dark Fae. This also led to her first time seeing a Dark Fae up close and she was actually frightened of him, though luckily he too was either killed in the fight or forced to leave. Still it left an imprint on her that makes her fear Dark Fae in a more realistic manner now.
With the problem with Faerie dying she is trying to solve the mystery but also maintain some form of peace and communication between Light Fae and Humanity. She is aware that at the moment there is unbalance and mixed feelings on all sides. Her suspicions also lead her to think the Dark Fae are to blame for what it happening to Faerie, which would come as no surprise to most Light Fae. Her goals now are to maintain and observe the transitions and try and keep the unstable peace.
