• What age/year is TIW set in?

• How does time flow site time vs RL?
  

  Keep an eye on the sidebar for what week we’re in. A Monday in real life = a Monday site time, and the week starting on Sunday will be listed in the sidebar.

  
  
  
• Can -insertboardname- be added, or can my shop/store/restaurant/etc be added as a board?
  

  Sure! I'm always open to new boards, so just pm me with the idea, and if you have a name/description for the board. =)

Plot-Related FAQ

• If fae and humans are different species, is it possible for them to have babies?
  

  Yep! Don't ask how... not even the fae themselves can explain it. Possibly they originated from the same realm tens of thousands of years ago.

  
  
  
• What exactly is song?
  

  There's a nice explanation in the fae informational post, but basically it's magic using incantations. The fae don't think of it as magic at all, it's just song to them... but to humans it's basically magic.

  
  
  
• Can fae-blooded use song?
  

  Nope, the fae-blooded only have their primary and sometimes a secondary ability. Human blood changes things so much in the dna that song is not possible for anyone with any human blood in them.

  
  
  
• Wouldn't that cause extinction issues?
  

  Yes, to a degree, which is why the fae were banned from openly crossing between the realms thousands of years ago. That's also possibly why many fae would be against humans, since humanity is a threat to fae extinction via interbreeding.
