Hey everyone! ;D I figure I should probably post a little something so that people don't just see a faceless admin. ^^;
I'm Amanda, though I also get called Mandy. =) I've been rping off and on for... I think about 5 years now. Lately that's been more off than on due to college, but I'm hoping to change that. ^^ Paranormal/fantasy is my genre... I've done Harry Potter, gifted, x-men, general fantasy, towns/schools with a paranormal twist, among others. Though it always has to have some element of fantasy to it - real life is not my thing. ^^;
I've adminned my fair share of sites, with my favorite definitely being a side that lasted 2 years before I closed it. In some ways I prefer adminning to just being a member.... I tend to be picky when I'm just a member, or I can never find an interesting plot. xD Plus I love creating the skins... I'm not the best, but it's fun.
The idea for TIW came about in October... I was rereading an epic series by Karen Marie Moning and thought it would be awesome to rp something set in her world. Well, there was nothing out there that I could find, so I settled for tweaking her world and adding my own ideas to it.
I <3 cats, coffee, and reading.... got a lovely year old kitty who loves to cuddle. And I can't live without my morning coffee. xD I'm technically a senior in college, though I still have one more year left after this spring... the joys of not doing anything related to my major for gen ed classes.
Oh yeah, and I'm a night owl, so you can usually catch me around here throughout the evening (unless I'm at work).
And this is probably a rambling mess, but it doesn't matter. xD Lol, as you've probably noticed, I tend to overuse emotes a lot. What can I say, they add flavor to a post. ^^;
Anyway, just wanted to put a hi out there, and I hope to have fun here.
