Attitude:
Selene has quite a diverse attitude depending on the situation. In an everyday normal situation, Selene is fun, flirty, and flamboyant. She's not loud, but she does make a lasting impression. She doesnt mean to be this way, but it's just in her nature to be extra friendly. Because of this, she also tends to fall for men easily, as as long as they have some interest in her. Selene, however, is far from a slut or whore, as sex isn't her main motif. Her friends, family, and companions who help her through her travels are her main source of inspiration, and through song, she wants to help those who have helped her in return. She can also be seen as a dumb blonde, cause her actions aren't always the brightest.
However, in a sticky situation, Selene almost changes completely. She turns serious and quiet as she needs to focus and concentrate. She becomes less of a 'dumb blonde' and more of a smart ass. However, she isn't totally cold. She still has compassion and kindness, but she just isn't so... ditzy. Although Selene can be tempted by men through physical touch, she tends to avoid contact while in this mode in order to prevent her from losing concentration.

History:
When Selene was just a young little fae, she always had an affinity for restoration songs. She would go around and sing her basic songs to heal minor cuts and scratches, and even helping the little animals around her village. Selene was born into a family of strong singers, each one with an affinity for something different. For example, her mother was aligned with the stars, and her songs were in a book entitled Hymni Stellam. Her mother was the village's priest, curing and restoring any wounds from fae that had returned from battle, or got hurt while hunting. Although very rarely, she had to protect the village from attacks from Unseelie warriors.
Selene grew up in the footsteps of her mother. Her father passed on when she was young, but even then, she didn't feel too affected by it. Although her mother was crestfallen most of the time, Selene tried to make it her mission to cheer her up. As she trained under her mother's superior songs, she started to develop her own songs. Her mother noticed that her powers were strongest under moonlight, and thus Selene was born with an affinity towards the moon. Selene then started to record her songs in something she entitled Hymni Lunae. Studying excessively, she learned her spells quite faster than other fae, and learn to develop some of her own rather than just knocking off her mother's songs.
When the portal between the Fae world and the Human world opened up, Selene decided to go through and see what it was about. Unseelie had rampaged through out this world. She decided to take refuge in a place called Dublin, and from there, she would meet a man who was human. He was named Gregory. Gregory Hughes. He had seen Selene and almost instantly fell in love. Selene, being under Glamour, decided to follow the man around, because he was being so kind to her. Over the course of a few months, Selene had learned all the customs of the humans, at least, most of them. Selene had revealed herself to be a fae, and Gregory didn't mind that. However, other members of Selene's tribe did. So, one day, after Selene and Gregory made love for the first time, he was abducted and tortured to death by Selene's own mother. Heartbroken and vengeful, she decided to turn on her Seelie tribe, who wanted to create a pure race, and stayed in Dublin, trying to mask herself from them until she can find someone to murder them for her.

Sample RP: The fireball was gaining speed and size with every second that was passing by, headed straight for her head. The fire elemental was pretty confident in her ability to break through her water bubble, as the bubble seemed thin and weak. The rage in her eyes and power of the fireball was strong, as she was one of the best fire elementals in her class. However, not even the best offense could rival Nerine's defensive capabilities. Although nearly unable to offensively use water, her ability to counter most offensive spells was something noted by the professors, as they have seldom seen a student who had such proficiency and interest with defensive arts.
The fireball hit the bubble, and a loud explosion could be heard through out the courtyard. Silence filled the air, as smoke covered the scene of impact. The fire elemental, confident in her burst of flame, thought she had defeated a water elemental, something she prided herself on. However, a quick rush of water went up and splashed her in the face, as if slapped. The smoke cleared, and Nerine smiled and giggled, with her bubble still intact and rushing with water. The next thing the fire elemental knew, she was being encased by a bubble. It was the same type of bubble surrounding Nerine, as the splash of water gave her an outlet for manipulation. Being encased in pure water weakened the fire elemental's powers, as she couldn't get out of it. No matter what she tried, the water's current was so fast that it deflected all her attacks. The students surrounding them laughed in ridicule, as it was just a simple bubble. Nerine simply walked out of her bubble and popped the one surrounding the fire elemental, giggling with an innocent expression on her face. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but you look like you could need a hand." With kind eyes and a beautiful smile, she helped the fire elemental up and shook hands, concluding the duel and demonstration.
